The Institute for Sustainable Economy and Community (ISEC) is established as a non-stock, non-profit corporation in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Applications are in process for the receipt of IRS 501c(3) status which is retroactively enabled.

The governance is by a Board of Directors with the augmented assistance of an Advisory Board consisting of experts in many fields of science, engineering, industry, finance, business and philanthropy.
